Blood Pressure Update

As a lot of you all know, my blood pressure spiked a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, it has not come back down. I had my doctor appointment yesterday. The good news is that it hasn't significantly increased any more. However, there has still been enough change that the doctor did mention "inducement." We got the feeling that this would only be in the event that my blood pressure rose more, but 34 weeks and 36 weeks were discussed. The school nurse is taking my blood pressure daily and I have already been bumped to weekly visits. We're keeping our fingers crossed. I'm currently 32 1/2 weeks along, and we hope Siena can make it as long as possible!

She's finally a real baby....

This is Siena's profile.
This is Siena already asserting her independence and refusing to give us a good shot. (This is what she did for around 20 minutes - feet and hands in front of face and a lot of movement.)

It's a GIRL!???

We are very excited, despite the fact that the little one remains Baby No Name. We are working on that. The tech warned that there are no guarentees that little girls aren't little boys, so we're saving our receipts. However, after two different views, she was fairly certain that she was a SHE. We have been thinking girl for so long now that we truly have no doubts! Everything looked great - all of her organs and her growth rate were good. She's looking to have a May 23rd birthday. We shall see...

Ooops, almost forgot - Ken felt her move for the first time today. She has always stopped moving when he's tried to feel her previously. Today, she kicked hard enough that I could see his hand bounce from her kick (or punch!) :o)
