Very QUICK allergy update...

The allergist said that it was probably a milk allergy but might be an avocado allergy. (Basically what we already knew...) Considering her age, he didn't feel that we needed to run tests. (And we agreed, especially Siena!) We are waiting a year to reintroduce milk and considering the delayed reaction, it will most likely be an allergy she outgrows. Siena is doing great and has no other reactions. She LOVES sweet potatoes but isn't so sure about bananas. Her Nana and Papaw will test run peaches this weekend!

Some of Siena's Tricks

Update on the Allergies

Siena is doing well. Since we took the milk based formula and the avocado out her diet she has had no reaction. The supplemental "milk" is a soy formula now and she is back on cereal. (She LOVES to eat. The return of it brought a big smile and much excitment to her!) We are making an appointment with an allergist just for good measure.

We love the giggle...

Our Poor Baby :o(

So, Siena is breaking out in hives. She is having an allergic reaction to something and we are trying to figure out what. Maybe avocado, maybe milk, maybe rice. We will update as we figure it out. :o(

A lazy Sunday...

For the record, Siena positioned herself this way and remained there for about 15-20 minutes perfectly content. She just chilled, gazed around, and watched a little football with her daddy.

...definitely moving!

Happy Halloween (& go Vols!)

Can you tell how interested she is in her toes?

Ask, Papaw, and you shall receive....

...sort of.

Siena found her toes at the beginning of the month. After we unswaddle her in the morning (or she unswaddles herself, which is 50% of the time these days), she spends her time cooing and grabbing her toes, usually one set with each hand. Here she has only the one, but it was the best I could do today.
